[Open the box] Painting Buddha Season 1.1 : Target identified

Hi !

Today I received my Painting Buddha season 1.1 box.
I was expecting to get it last week at FiMaJe in Antibes but Michael Bartels and Ben Komets were blocked in Berlin due to an unexpected flu.

In this box you have two 54mm scale miniatures and a scenic base, 6 painting DVDs by Ben Komets aka White Rabbit and Rafael Garcia Marin Aka Volomir and more goodies !

Ce matin j'ai reçu mon coffret Painting Buddha saison 1.1/
J'espérais la récupérer la semaine dernière au FiMaJe à Antibes mais Michael Bartels et Ben Komets ont dû rester à Berlin cloués au lit.

Dans ce coffret vous avez deux figurines 54mm et leur décor, 6 DVD décrivant les étapes de la peinture des figurines par Ben Komets alias White Rabbit et Rafael Garcia Marin alias Volomir et plein d'autres goodies !

Allez, ouvrons la boîte !

The external package has suffered a bit during transport but everything inside is ok.

L'emballage extérieur a un peu souffert durant le transport mais tout est en bon état à l'intérieur.

First we find a personalized thanks letter signed by Michael, Ben and Mati.

On trouve tout d'abord une lettre de remerciement personnalisée, signée par Michael, Ben et Mati.

The box is wrapped in the Painting Buddha t-shirt to protect it.

La boite est protégée par le t-shirt Painting Buddha qui est enroulé autour.

Tadaaa ! Ze box ! :)

When we remove the sleeve, we discover the black box with a silver Painting Buddha logo embossed.

Lorsqu'on retire la jaquette, on découvre la boîte noire avec le logo Painting Buddha argenté en relief.

Tadaaa ! Open ze box ! :)

First we find a thank you card with the box number and again the silver Painting Buddha logo.

On trouve en premier une carte de remerciements qui porte le numéro de la boîte et à nouveau le logo Painting Buddha argenté.

Then we have the miniatures and the scenic base encased in a metallic box with a Painting Buddha logo of course and sealed with Painting Buddha stickers.
The resin casting quality is very good, only a few mold lines and I haven't found air bubbles so far.

Ensuite nous avons les figurines et le décors dans une boîte métallique toujours avec le logo Painting Buddha que l'on retrouve aussi sur les petits autocollants qui scellent la boîte.
La qualité du moulage résine est très bonne, juste quelques lignes de moulage et je n'ai pas encore trouvé de bulles.

Deux livrets : Comment préparer les figurines en résine et quelques explications à propos de Painting Buddha.

The DVD box and the 6 DVDs, 3 DVDs by Ben Komets and 3 DVDs by Rafael Garcia Marin, in each set one DVD on Brad, one on Yanet and the last one on the base, 15 hours of painting videos.

Le coffret DVD et les 6 DVDs, 3 DVDs par Ben Komets et 3 DVDs par Rafael Garcia Marin, dans chaque set le premier DVD traite de Brad, le second de Yanet et le dernier du socle, 15 heures de vidéos de peinture.

With this first box Painting Buddha offers a product of a very high level for a very reasonable price.

Now I have to watch the DVDs and paint the miniatures :)

But wait !...

The box is not empty...

Maintenant il faut que je regarde les DVDs et que je peigne les figurines :)
